这部作品一反童话故事的习惯
没有描绘出至善与至恶的人物
作品中的每一个人物
本质都是善良的
但都是不完美的
海蒂活泼开朗、善良友好但是过分喜爱冒险
爷爷于力内心善良
感情丰富但是不长于表达
外表冷酷无情
克拉拉友善但略带上层人物的骄傲等等
纵观全片，我们就会发现
每一个孩子都在一次次“伦理选择”中逐渐成长
海蒂选择了乡村
彼得选择了识字
克拉拉选择站起来
他们收获了快乐，也在快乐中成熟
