[scode type="share"]1.greenlight

To give your approval for something.

例句:

So far three directors have greenlighted the project.

2.suggestive

adj.

Suggestive remarks or looks cause people to think about sex, often in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.

例句:

①Another former employee who claims Thomas made suggestive remarks to her.

②Advertisements containing words or pictures of a sexually suggestive nature.

Promise at Dawn

同时,它还有一个释义,表示“(骨头)愈合,接合 ”【When broken bones knit, the broken pieces grow together again.】

The bone hasn't knitted together properly.

再拓展一个短语:knit one's brows/eyebrows 【If you knit your brows or knit your eyebrows, you frown because you are angry or worried.】
